One Week to Go!

Well, I leave for LA in one week and then we are off to Peru on the 2nd. I can't believe it. Time has been flying and it seems like it is only picking up speed in these last few days. Almost everything is in storage and I think that we took full advantage of our storage space (I am splitting a 5X8 room with my travel buddy and another good friend). I have included a picture to show how we literally took advantage of every nook and cranny in the place! :) Now all I have to do is try to pack my backpack. What does one need to get through ten months? Hmmmm....

Getting ready...

Well, I am now officially one month away from being somewhere in Peru. I think I have enough medicine to get me through the first few days of my trip! :) Good thing I got all of that out of the way before my insurace ran out. I had to send my passport away to get extra pages added (very fun), and now I have a few weeks to make sure that all of my visas are in order before we take off. The current plan is to fly down to LA on September 30th, spend a day in LA with some good friends, and then we fly out of LAX at 1:50pm to Lima, Peru. I will try to figure out some way to update this blog along the way...wish me luck, considering I'm still here and haven't found the time to update it!
